Tomorrow, two officers will step into a hospital room where a hunter lies — his eyes gone, his story fractured and strange. Out in the forest, something found him. Something far worse than a predator. His partner didn’t survive.

Now, the forest has gone quiet. Too quiet. But something is coming. Slowly. Purposefully. It’s been watching from the dark, slipping between the trees, closer with every moment. No one in town is ready for what’s about to happen — not the officers, not the people who think they’re safe in their homes.

When the lights flicker and the shadows stretch, no one will understand what they’re facing.
